You need:
- chicken (I prefer using thigh fillet for this)
- cubed pork kasim
- shrimps
- ham cut into square pieces
- chorizo de bilbao sliced into rounds
- calamansi juice
- diced bell pepper
- paella mix
- tomato sauce
- rice
- oil
- water
- garlic
- onion
- salt & pepper
Cook this way:
- Marinate the pork and chicken in the calamansi juice, overnight.
- Cook the shrimp in a pan with some water.
- Peel the shrimps and on a separate container, marinate it in calamansi juice a well.
- After marinating the pork and chicken, fry them for a while or until a little brown.
- On a separate pan, saute the onion.
- Add the tomato sauce, ham, chorizo, and bell pepper. Let it cook for 10-15 mins.
- Strain the sauce from the paella filling and set aside.
- On a wok, I used this since I don't have a paellera on hand, heat some oil and saute the garlic.
- Add the rice, paella mix, and water.
- Stir the rice to let it cook evenly. Add the paella sauce and water every now and then.
- Once the rice is cooked, add the paella filling.
- Top with the shrimps and serve!

You should saute the shrimps with the garlic and cook the rice in it. :)
And try using fish next time, along with (fresh) crabs. Cook them with the rice, so that you get the flavors out of the fish and crabs. :D
